GOD at work in the lives of International Students

Sometimes we first meet an International Student during the summer in Ocean City, MD. Other times it happens during an English Club in the city where they attend university. But it is exciting when we have the opportunity to build relationships with International Students in both locations!
We met Silviu during the summer of 2013 in Ocean City, MD at one of the free meals that area churches provide for International Students. He had a need and we were able to help him. Steve had forgotten about him until Silviu showed up in Steve's class during the recent English Club (EC) in Iasi, ROMANIA. Although initially reserved, Silviu's personality was transformed as he faithfully attended each session, the weekend retreat and various excursions around Iasi. Although he has not yet committed his life to Jesus, Silviu is much more open to the Gospel now.

Zheniya, on the other hand, attended our English Club in Kiev, UKRAINE during October 2012. Afterwards, he committed his life to Christ while being followed up by Sergei, one of the local Campus Crusade for Christ, International (CCCI) staff. Zheniya was a Student Volunteer in Ocean City during the summer of 2014, helped in Uncle Bill's class during EC Kiev in September 2014 and plans to return to Ocean City as a Student Volunteer in 2015.

It has been amazing to see GOD begin to change / transform the lives of International Students. During each of the past four summers in Ocean City, MD hundreds of International Students have experienced the love of GOD personally and been impacted spiritually with some committing their lives to Jesus. Likewise, during each of the past three years, hundreds of other students attending one of our 11 English Clubs have also heard the Gospel and some of them have also entered into a personal relationship with Jesus.

In winter / spring 2015 we are hoping to do the following English Clubs, but we desperately need volunteers like you to help us teach:
• 2-7 Feb - 1 week EC for High School team in Bucharest, ROMANIA
• 9-20 Feb - 0, 1 or 2 week EC in Chisinau, MOLDOVA
• 2-13 Mar - 2 week EC in Astana, KAZAKHSTAN
• 16-27 Mar - 2 week EC in Kiev, UKRAINE
• March - 2 week EC in Iasi, ROMANIA
In addition, we plan to return to Ocean City, MD around mid-May for the summer, but in order to do all this we need additional financial support. In addition to raising money for our salaries, medical & life insurance, ministry expenses, etc. we will need about $20,000 for the Ocean City / English Club projects.
We praise God for providing us with a team of committed ministry partners who have given faithfully and generously, and while we are looking to GOD and trusting HIM, we could use your help! Your generous year-end or Christmas gift will not only enable us to finish the year strong financially and be in positive territory, but also position us to move forward with these ministry activities in 2015. Simply make the check payable to Living Faith Ministries and mail it in the enclosed envelope. No gift is too large, none is too small, and all contributions are tax deductible!

We appreciate you and hope that your celebration of the birth of Jesus is meaningful.
